    Description

    Trading Services is seeking a candidate who is enthusiastic and committed to providing a "Best in Class" client service experience to our Financial Advisors. A successful candidate will play a crucial role in the day to day oversight of the Portfolio Administration team. The primary responsibilities of this position are to ensure the Portfolio Administration Services team is functioning in an effective and timely manner. The candidate will directly manage staff as well as train, plan, allocate, and monitor work and make decisions regarding employment, performance appraisals, hiring, and related personnel actions.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities, maximize efficiency, and deliver optimal service levels to internal and external clients.
  • Perform daily processing where appropriate to ensure business objectives and service goals are met.
  • Assists staff to resolve complex problems.
  • Evaluates processes and identify improvement opportunities to reduce cost and increase efficiencies.
  • Maintain/exceed quality standards as defined.
  • Maintain and provide departmental statistics.
  • Review errors and implement preventive/corrective actions as needed.
  • Facilitate and participate in post-mortem meetings to enhance processes based upon lessons learned.
  • Participate in special projects.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a similar capacity
  • Must have exceptional knowledge of the securities industry, various types of investment vehicles, and trading methods.
  • Ability to resolve highly complex issues, negotiate sensitive issues, troubleshoot daily obstacles, and possess highly developed reasoning capacity.
  • Able to effectively work in a team environment and possesses collaborative decision-making skills.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience overseeing a team and/or leading others preferred.
