- In conjunction with the Assistant Director of Training and Support, coordinate and conduct organization-wide staff new hire ELT/PCM training.
- Provide timely feedback to Program, Clinical and Human Resources leadership in relation to staff attending Entry Level Training, including completion of training evaluation forms.
- In conjunction with the Assistant Director of Training & Support, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate Eden's Entry Level Training.
- Maintain PCM (crisis intervention) Instructor certification, provide PCM recertification trainings and PCM refresher courses as needed.
- Provide in-service training for School and Adult Services programs as needed.
- Conduct follow up with all staff after completion of ELT at 30, 60, and 90 days; provide feedback as needed.
- In conjunction with Assistant Director, Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), and Chief Program Officer (CPO), develop trainings for staff in special areas of program and clinical significance; conduct a minimum of four (4) specialized trainings per year.
- Working with Program Supervisors, schedule and conduct Extended Entry Level training for School and Adult Services staff, including development of webinars, post-tests and in-person support.
- Provide CPR training, as needed, for Entry Level Training and re-certification groups.
- In conjunction with the Outreach Manager, schedule and provide internal and external trainings.
- Provide consultation for school districts as required.
- Bachelor's degree required
- BCBA or NJ TOSD certification and/or master's degree preferred
- Three (3) years' experience in teaching, autism, and Applied Behavior Analysis.
- One (1) year experience in conducting staff training, curriculum development, and program development activities.
- PCM Instructor certification
- CPR Instructor certification
- Ability to use effective critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative ability to process data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills, attention to detail, and deadline driven.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
- Intermediate to advance proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel to other Eden locations as needed.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, kneel, stretch, stoop, and/or reach above shoulder level for extended periods of time (up to 30 minutes) during the work day.
- Vision requirements to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to pass and maintain Professional Crisis Management (PCM) Instructor certification at a P2 level on an annual basis, including implementation of all strategies and techniques.
- Ability to move or be moved freely and quickly to ensure the safety of students/participants at all times.
