    Position: Marketing Intern

    Department: Marketing - Corporate

    Reports To: Director of Marketing

    Schedule: To be determined based on class schedule and business needs. Between 20-30 hrs per week.

    Job Description

    DJE Texas Management Group is seeking an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department who can contribute fresh ideas, create content, and research industry trends. Reporting Directly to the Director of Marketing, the ideal candidate has a strong understanding of brand marketing, social media, and digital marketing strategies and an interest in working on high-impact projects.

    Responsibilities:
    • Contribute to marketing campaigns that further the company's strategic goals
    • Perform market analysis and research on competition
    • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
    • Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing
    • Build and grow our social networks and followers
    • Assist management with the preparation of campaigns and reports
    • Help distribute marketing materials
    • Manage and update company websites
    • Assist in managing marketing calendar with events, promotions, holidays, etc
    • Conduct onsite visits to determine marketing needs including signage, promo, etc
    Skills:
    • Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
    • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
    • Creative problem-solving skills
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
    • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices
    • Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills
    Requirements:
    • Current enrollment in a related degree. (Communications, Marketing, Advertising)
    • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
    • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
    • Understanding of different marketing techniques
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
