- The incumbent plays a vital part in implementing strategies to develop top talent, as well as addressing employee engagement and development needs.
- Aid in the creation and implementation of leadership, performance, and talent-based programs and initiatives.
- Act as a strategic thought partner cross-functionally to design and deliver training and development programs to support employee growth and development.
- Analyze organizational trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies that support upscaling and reskilling.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and assess talent needs, participate in strategic planning as well as research evidence-based practices.
- Works closely with HR Business Partners to identify talent, learning, performance management, and succession planning solutions and resources.
- Provide ongoing coordination and support relating to:the delivery of high-quality training, talent, and educational management tools, assessments, systems, and schedules, talent materials, communications, and confidential records.
- Assist with new Hibbett | City Gear initiatives by coordinating and maintaining processes relating to performance management, succession planning, development planning and continuous learning.
- Establish and maintain a dynamic inventory of an enterprise leadership competency framework.
- Maintain and produce relevant metrics that provide useful insights to guide talent strategies and priorities.
- Consulting with executive leaders, subject matter experts, and external vendors to create innovative talent management solutions to meet diverse business needs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact and influence at all levels.
- Strong background (3-5 years) in Human Resources with proven experience in talent development.

- Basic knowledge of learning theories, talent strategies, and continuous performance management models.

Under general supervision, the will be responsible for supporting the organization's talent management, performance, and enterprise learning efforts to support a talent-based organization. The incumbent in this role will aid in the development and implementation of talent, performance, and learning programs such as, succession planning, performance management, and continual leadership development. Duties of this role include, but are not limited to the planning, execution, and maintenance of organizational programs, processes, and activities to ensure quality. The Business Partner will work closely with leadership regarding the coordination and implementation of learner-centric initiatives and experiences. This role will work closely in a collaborative environment to assist in developing high potential talent to build a diverse future pipeline of leaders. We are seeking well-qualified candidates who have the ability to be innovative, think big, and facilitate end-to-end talent management, learning, and performance processes.
