    Disney Live Entertainment Costuming is seeking candidates for the role of Costume Development Producer.

    This is a Leadership role responsible for a team of highly collaborative professionals that handle the development of ready-to-wear garments for our cast working in attractions, food and beverage and hotels.

    Successful candidates will lead the development lifecycle from fiscal feasibility through implementation.
    This role will report to the Manager-Costume Design and Development. The is a temporary role with no guarantee of permanent placement.

    Provide daily leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a team of direct & indirect reports, including ensuring the team receives accurate training and understands their role and how to perform it.

    Review and prepare workflow, resource needs and action plans while ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer service standards are met

    Establish an open and encouraging working relationship with co-workers and support staff across the organization, and across partnering teams including but not limited to Art Directors, Inventory Planning and Buying teams.

    5+ years' experience in the garment industry with a focus on ready-to-wear/uniform/apparel product development
    ~5+ years' experience leading salaried and hourly non-union employees
    ~ Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
    ~ Experience communicating (written & verbal) with all levels of partners with focus on Executive communication
    ~ Experience delivering uniform/apparel development projects timely and on-budget while communicating with executive leadership, sponsors and clients
    ~ Ability to work with various synthetic fibers and fabrics
    ~ Flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays are required

    Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) applications
    Project / Product management
    Advanced degree in Costuming, Fashion, Apparel or related fields
