Jess Keller

Jess Keller is a director and cinematographer based in Orlando, Florida. Jess has worked on features and documentaries, as well as brand films and commercials for Fortune 500 brands- in the US and across the globe. She finds her passion in documentary filmmaking, particularly short-form stories about culture, entertainment, and the arts. Jess previously worked as a Creative Director at Adrenaline Films and now freelances in central Florida, New York, and LA.

Jess consistently works to elevate her skills with a variety of camera systems, including Arri, Sony, Pansonic, Canon, RED, and Blackmagic- both in-studio and in the field. A firm believer in intention-driven pre-production, she approaches each frame with photographic care. When she’s not behind the lens, Jessica regularly writes, directs, and develops creative content.

• Visual storyteller for a film production creative agency that covered short-form social media, branded entertainment, documentary, advertising, and informational video for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to non-profits.
• Proposed a business plan to pivot company towards a people-first creative agency model. Developed a brand voice and supervised a team of 10+ in the development of a case-driven website.
• Directed shoots and provided creative oversight on-set and in post-production. Camera directed for live events.
• Maintained regular client contact to listen to client stories, evaluate goals and propose creative opportunities.

• Utilized cameras with handheld, gimbal, sticks, and dolly packages both in the studio and in the field.
• Created high-impact content in all stages: sourcing and conducting pre-pro calls with interview subjects, shot-listing, making video and image selects, and providing retouching notes and technical feedback on a regular basis.
• Promoted through titles including Camera Apprentice, Camera Operator, Director of Photography, Creative Producer, and Creative Director.
