Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for developing logic, interfaces, workflows, automations, and security within the Salesforce
platform
Essential Functions –
• Customize Salesforce applications using the declarative capabilities of the platform such as flow.
• Write, test, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, controllers, and batch processes to implement complex business
logic.
• Write unit tests and perform code coverage to ensure the quality and stability of customizations.
• Develop custom user interfaces using Visualforce pages and Lightning components to enhance user experience
and meet specific business requirements.
• Implement and manage security features such as profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and fieldlevel security to control access to data and functionality.
• Integrate external applications with the Salesforce platform using various API technologies.
• Help maintain sandbox environments to ensure proper testing and deployment practices are enforced.
• Document changes in a manner that provides clarity to the users and extensibility to the code base in the future.
• Troubleshoot user issues.
• Adhere to Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and governance policies to ensure scalability,
maintainability, and performance of the Salesforce org.
• Understand business processes and design automated solutions based on an end-to-end understanding of the
business process
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies –
• Ability to work within a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Experience working within a managed project environment that documents scope, testing, and user
education.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organization and effective follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Private equity/financial services experience is a plus
Qualifications
• 3+ years of Salesforce-centric development experience and administration.
• 2+ years of experience using Financial Services Cloud
• 1+ year of experience with Conga
• 2+ Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder,
Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II certifications
• Strong experience Apex/Visualforce development skillset.
• In-depth development experience using integrated development environments such as Visual Studio.
• Finance/insurance industry experience preferred
