- Devise, construct, and modify general computer applications software as well as specialized utility programs.
- Scrutinize user needs and devise software solutions accordingly.
- Design software and tailor it for client utilization to optimize operational efficiency.
- Potentially oversee the development of databases within a specific application area, either individually or in coordination with a team of database developers.
- May be tasked with supervising computer programmers.

- Engage in computer network exploitation development.
- Evaluate the quality of software systems and solutions.
- Analyze software packages relative to mission requirements, considering needs and risks.
- Develop, update, and evaluate software engineering standards, specifications, handbooks, or manuals for cyber capability development and testing.
- Document the verification and validation of protocols and solutions and offer technical support to user organizations during software acquisition.
- Design life cycle models and customize software analytical tools for assessing information system authenticity and continuity.
- Craft specialized software/firmware modules.
- Disassemble and analyze software and embedded firmware.
- Collaborate with the Cyber Innovation Unit.
- Derive software designs from requirements analysis.
- Create, test, deploy, and maintain web-based software applications.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Solve intricate technical issues, meet deadlines, and excel in a team environment.
- Conduct root cause analysis, review code, and conduct unit testing.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers and the team.
- Research and implement novel development techniques and technologies.
- Draft and review software documentation.
- Cloud Design and Development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Platforms (2010, 2013, 2016).
- Familiarity with Atlassian products (JIRA and Confluence).
- Experience working with ServiceNow.
- Background in business process automation.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in application software development.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or an additional five years of experience).
- Valid CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP certification (meeting the minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification requirement).
- Active TS/SCI + Poly clearance.
- Proficiency in front-end web technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript.
