    Join Our Team as a Housing Specialist at Pathways!

    As the Housing Specialist, your main responsibility is to meet with clients to assess their housing situation, identify obstacles preventing them from securing suitable housing, and evaluate their financial status.

    Once housing is arranged, you will focus on educating clients about budgeting, building relationships with landlords, tenants, and neighbors, and enhancing their daily living skills like housecleaning.

    You will serve as an advocate, provide skill training, connect clients with community services, and develop and implement their treatment plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing client transportation as necessary and participating in a one-week on-call rotation, either virtually or in person, depending on the circumstances.

    To ensure maximum client success, the majority of your time will be spent meeting clients in the local community, with approximately 20% of your time allocated for office meetings or virtual interactions via zoom or phone.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or a related field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Mental Health
    • LGSW/LICSW, LGPC/LPC, or Psychologist/Psych Associate credentials
    • OR
    • Bilingual in English/Spanish
    • Experience with Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
    • ACT involves a multidisciplinary team approach and is tailored to adults in their natural settings
    • Special focus on individuals aged 25 and above who have struggled with traditional mental health services
    • Knowledge of Transitional Assertive Community Treatment (TACT)
    • TACT is designed to assist individuals who have not benefited from traditional mental health services
