    Description
    The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing commercial construction projects from inception to completion.

    This role involves coordinating all aspects of project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Planning:
    Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.

    Contract Management:
    Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and compliant with regulations.

    Budget and Cost Control:
    Prepare project budgets, track expenses, and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

    Schedule Management:
    Develop project schedules, establish milestones, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time.

    Resource Allocation:
    Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to optimize resource utilization and meet project requirements.

    Quality Assurance:
    Implement quality control measures to ensure construction activities comply with specifications, codes, and industry standards.

    Safety Management:
    Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all project stakeholders.

    Risk Management:
    Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.

    Stakeholder Communication:


    Maintain regular communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and project team members to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and resolve issues.


    Change Management:
    Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring proper documentation and approval procedures are followed.

    Documentation and Reporting:


    Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and change orders, to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with contractual requirements.


    Team Leadership:


    Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and support staff, to ensure cohesive collaboration and successful project delivery.


    Qualifications:
    Proven experience managing commercial construction projects, preferably in sectors such as office buildings, retail centers, hotels, or industrial facilities.
    Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
    Familiarity with construction management software and project management tools.
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.

    Requirements:
    Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites in other states as required.
