What is the role?
dotCMS is a cloud-based Digital Experience platform that is changing how enterprises do digital.

We seek a self-starter individual with excellent communication skills and passionate for learning new technologies and working within Tech, SaaS, or a fast-paced environment.


As a Project Manager, your objective is to ensure that dotCMS professional services and client onboarding implementations stay within scope, adhere to timelines, and remain within budget, all while upholding high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Creating tasks and user stories for dotCMS developers.
  • Updating and participating in the ownership of dotCMS' project management platform, ensuring accurate and uptodate reports.
  • Maintaining an accurate report of hours spent on projects (billable and nonbillable).
  • Communicating updates to clients and attending client meetings to demonstrate completed work for feedback.
  • Creating clientfacing project plans.
  • Highlighting project risks and escalating issues to the dotCMS customer success, product, and maintenance team.
  • Appropriately allocating resources to deliver projects on time, balancing high visibility and enterprisegrade projects with smaller, prescriptive client projects/ongoing retainers.
  • Work with support to ensure ticket completion and quality.
  • Scope new dotCMS projects and create statements of work that are delivered to client decisionmakers.

Why we get excited about you:

  • 2+ years of project management experience within a SaaS, fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years of experience working in SaaS or software organizations. Experience working within the CMS industry would be a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience working directly with clients, whether in support, customer success, or other clientfacing roles.
  • Proven track record of creating clientfacing documentation, including project plans, work deliverables, and presentations.
  • Strong communication skills, including fluency in English, are a must.
  • Strong selfstarter and ownership qualities with a creative bent.

Additional desirable characteristics:


  • PMP or CAPM certification or similar.
  • Basic backend, frontend, or fullstack development experience.
  • Enterprise and SMB clientfacing experience.
