Program Manager (Security)
Location: Seattle, Washington

Job Description
The project is a part of the security team (cloud). They define the security bar, and they grant people the necessary permission when they need to break policies. The team follows up with the people that needed to break policies to ensure they are following the commitments. They deal with exceptions with security policies (they look at the justification, clarify how long the exception will be, etc.). The candidate must be a US citizen and pass a cloud background check for this role.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to helping triage the exception requests, doing the initial analysis of it and doing a tier 1/tier 2 triage. They are currently working on a lot of projects (air gap cloud, anything needed to run Azure, etc.).
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 40% going through the existing queue of requests and triaging, 20% fact finding/learning the details of what exactly the individual team is asking to do, and 40% cataloging and working on the disposition and coordinating with the rest of the team.
Requirements -
• Required 5 overall years of experience in the field.
• Must be a US citizen and pass a cloud background check to be eligible for this role.
• Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Responsible for assessing Azure services for conformance to internal standards, process, and procedures (SPPs). Triage exceptions to SPPs based upon operational risk, and assist supported teams through the exception and risk determination process. Develop and implement a method to track and manage findings for trend analysis and variations
• Best vs. Average: The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills as they will be interacting with teams all over the world. They need to be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Excellent written communication is needed as well for emails. Someone who can connect the dots and can remain professional while having difficult conversations. Experience with Microsoft office and experience triaging requests.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and SLAs (resolve all exception requests within a week). Must provide proof of US citizenship and successfully complete a Microsoft Cloud Screen background investigation.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with unexplained employment gaps will not be eligible for the role.
Top 3 Skills Required-
1. Minimum 5 years experience with rapidly organizing different information into something that is cogent and sortable.
2. Minimum 5 years experience with professional email writing and written communication.
3. Minimum 5 years experience with interfacing with clients on technical and business issues.
**Must provide proof of US citizenship and successfully complete a Cloud Screen background investigation.**
