    Insight Global is searching for a Base Operations Support (BOS) Program Manager to join our team onsite at Keesler, AFB


    Job Description:

    Overall Management:

    Tasked with leading the operations for a significant military base support contract, encompassing areas such as Civil Engineering, Supply Services, Community Centers, and Human Resources for the Air Force.


    Regulatory Compliance:

    Skilled in overseeing government contracts, adhering to Federal Acquisition Regulations, managing government-provided equipment and materials, ensuring property accountability, and supervising work control processes.


    Resource Coordination:

    Liaises with senior leadership and various organizational resources to secure support services, including staffing, employee benefits, travel arrangements, expense management, performance evaluations, vendor relations, billing, and addressing staff concerns.


    Financial Oversight:
    Directs contract activities with a focus on financial health, balancing contract execution, costs, and profitability. Guarantees prompt and precise billing and keeps track of payments. Evaluates financial aspects like project profit, revenue, billing rates, and resource allocation.

    Talent Management:
    Aids in the recruitment process, manages training programs, and ensures proper orientation for new hires. Monitors staff performance and productivity, providing supervision and guidance to team members.

    Operational Review:
    Assesses the efficiency of organizational operations, proposing enhancements to structure, policies, and procedures to meet established performance standards. Manages a variety of contract types, including fixed-price and cost-reimbursable.

    Safety Program Development:

    Collaborates with the Safety and Health Officer to create and maintain a robust safety and environmental program, aimed at preventing and minimizing workplace injuries and illnesses, aligning with organizational safety guidelines.


    Client Interaction:
    Engages daily with client management to address all aspects of contract support. Spearheads the development of proposals for contract modifications, requests for equitable adjustments, and pricing revisions.

    Business Development:
    Actively seeks new business opportunities, reporting potential leads to organizational leaders or business development teams.

    Bachelor's degree in engineering field, Master's degree in engineering or business administration field.


    • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
    • At least Five (5) years' experience as a Program Manager managing large, complex, service type, performance-based government contracts with multi-disciplinary staff (200 person or more) multiple functional areas including program management, business operations, human resources, procurement, Subcontracts, contracts, operations, labor negotiations, civil engineering, and logistics support with a value of over $40M per year.
    • Two (2) years' experience as a Base Civil Engineer.
    • Ten (10) years of experience with large-scale USAF organizations and the functions and operations of Wing/base activities (i. e., Maintenance, Civil Engineering, Logistics, Operations, etc.).
    • Thorough knowledge of general management principles, methods, and techniques and their practical application in the area of facilities management.
    • Experience in direct oversight of quality control, equipment, facility, utility, grounds management, safety and business operations management.
    Demonstrated knowledge of project management processes and financial management skills.
