About the Position:

As a key member of the Transaction Readiness team, the Senior Transaction Advisor will work with our clients throughout the exit planning process to increase the likelihood of a successful transaction.

Responsibilities:

Prepare financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
Work directly with clients to obtain, review, analyze, and present financial data
Conduct in-depth financial analysis and interpret complex financial data to provide meaningful insights to business owners
Develop financial models and forecasting tools to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
Help drive the monthly close process and provide executive-facing commentary & analysis on performance
Consolidate and analyze financial information and trends and communicate results and recommendations to management
Play a key role in the preparation of strategic and long-range plans
Create and drive the adoption of improved financial processes and policies through teaming with multiple stakeholder groups
Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Analyze net working capital requirements and reporting and prepare purchase price adjustments related to business transactions

Qualifications:

Previous M&A transaction experience required
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience building and maintaining financial models
Strong financial modeling skills and ability to communicate drivers effectively to all levels of the organization
Excellent communication skills and comfort with presenting ideas and asking questions to senior executives
Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, or private equity is a plus, including experience with Quality of Earnings analysis
Ability to adhere to firm deadlines
Tech savvy with expert Excel skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience
