    Description

    My client is looking for a Senior Accountant to report to the Senior Accounting Manager and CFO for the small but high growth US operations of an international CPG company

    Client Details

    My Client is an international CPG company with multiple subsidiaries in Cosmetics and Home Goods. Retail, wholesale, D2C, etc. They have locations in Dallas and Los Angeles

    Description

    1. Oversee the month-end financial close process.
    2. Maintain comprehensive records of financial and accounting transactions using SAP.
    3. Conduct monthly reconciliations for all relevant G/L accounts.
    4. Generate reports and analyses on financial data and metrics, including cash forecasting, sales statistics, and monthly net sales reports.
    5. Assist in the review and processing of commission payouts.
    6. Support vendor payments.
    7. Review and process travel expense reports for payment.
    8. Manage past-due accounts and initiate collection procedures when necessary.
    9. Resolve discrepancies in accounts or billings, including processing refunds or chargebacks.
    10. Address internal and external audit requirements.
    11. Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

    Profile

    1. Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business; Masters is a plus
    2. Accumulation of 3 to 5 years of full cycle accounting, ideally within international operations, manufacturing, or consumer products.
    3. Preference for CPA certification and/or experience with Big 4 firms.
    4. Advantageous to have experience with SAP and/or CPM planning software.
    5. Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing improvement.
    6. Actively engages in attentive listening, interpretation, and responsive problem-solving.
    7. Proven experience in cultivating robust relationships within an entrepreneurial setting.
