    Job Type Full-timeDescriptionSummary : Supervises and coordinates activities of production associates engaged in fabrication of ; welding of; or processing of metal products by performing the following duties.

    The required hours for this position include, but may not be limited to 7:00 P.M. - 4:30 A.M.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    Analyzes production schedules to determine most effective process, materials, machines, tooling, and sequence of operation.
    Assigns tasks to associates, and specifies methods of coordinating workflow to meet production schedules.
    Sets up work areas.
    Supervises such processes as fabricating, welding, stock handling, and assembling.

    Investigates malfunction of machines and equipment to determine need for corrective actionStudies production schedules and estimates labor hour requirements for completion of job assignment.

    Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
    Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
    Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or team.
    Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists associates in solving work problems.
    Initiates or suggests plans to motivate associates to achieve work goals.
    Maintains time and production records, e-time payroll records, and other administrative type duties.
    Confers with other supervisors and staff to coordinate activities of individual areas and departments.
    Can performs activities of the associated that are supervised.


    Supervisory Responsibilities :


    Manages 3-5 Production Team leaders who supervise a total of 35-50 employees in each of the Production Team Leader's area of responsibility.

    Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these the production areas under their control. Carries out supervisory and leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing issues and resolving problems.

    Education and/or Experience:
    One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Language Skills:
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, support staff and peers.


    Mathematical Skills:
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


    Reasoning Ability:


    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    Computer Skills:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Payroll systems;
    Project Managementsoftware; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
