General Overview:

The Commercial Sales Representative plays a crucial role in managing a group of clients by fostering relationships, offering products, services, and information to drive sales and profitability both for the business and the representative.

Responsibilities:

Raise awareness and generate demand for the company's products and services.
Establish and maintain Outside Sales Routes.
Identify opportunities and effectively communicate the features and benefits of solutions to address customer needs.
Maintain coordination with internal teams to align efforts with objectives.
Identify potential customers through various means such as business directories, referrals, club memberships, and participation in industry events.
Document quotes and maintain Pricing Structures tailored to individual customers.
Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and sales tactics.
Negotiate contract terms and payment schedules.
Follow up post-sales to ensure customer satisfaction, providing solutions if expectations are not met.
Handle the complete customer account lifecycle from quoting to delivery, billing, and managing accounts receivables.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Sales Criteria:

Customer-focused service approach.
A Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience in Outside Sales.
Proficiency in various relationship-based sales methods.
Ability to establish and nurture client relationships.
Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment to meet business and customer needs effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including adept presentation abilities.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Capable of excelling in a fast-paced, customer-centric setting.
Team Player:

Functions effectively within a team setting.

Detail-Oriented:

Executes tasks meticulously with attention to all necessary specifics for successful completion.

Capable of handling physically strenuous activities.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

Lifting:

Regularly lift objects weighing over 50 pounds from ground to chest level.

Occasional squatting, bending, and twisting.
Extended periods of standing.
Work Environment:

Operate in an uncontrolled climate environment with temperature extremes from hot to cold, based on the season.

Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception).
Sense of sound (Ringing phones, alarms, horns, and machinery noise).
PPE: Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, footwear).
