    Description
    The Director of Partnerships will define (and launch) the channel sales function, tasked with building marketplace sales funnel, and manage referral, reseller, and technology partnerships.
    We see Channel Sales as a critical component of the sales experience and long term customer relationship. We also believe the channel sales motion should not be in conflict with the direct sales motion, and we endeavor to invest in both teams and align incentives to compliment each other. Initially, getting a regular cadence of deals in the AWS marketplace will be a top priority. Longterm, we plan to build and formalize the sell-with and sell-through motions. This role will set strategic priorities and launch the combined partner strategy. Also responsible for delivering insight on partner influenced deals, and supporting the continued development of more and larger deals over time. This role will be tasked with strategic reporting and capturing the business impact and justification to grow the team and make significant partnership investments.
    This role will have formal KPIs and an aggregate quota. We have not set formal targets yet because the plan is to build a timeline and mutually agree on appropriate targets with this person. Typical tasks will include participation in pipeline calls, on-going partner training, and business case presentations. We look forward to establishing a healthy partner communication cadence, and building an on-going strategy to capture and present the business impact of partnerships to our customers.

    Salary & Benefits
    This role has a wide range of compensation that will be based on experience and seniority, and will consist of a salary and variable pay component. Variable compensation uncapped.
