    Senior Software Engineer

    on our

    Inventory Intelligence


    team, you'll combine robot hardware with world class software engineering solutions to drive incredible insights about the inventory in our hundreds of Sam's Clubs across the nation.

    What you'll do:

    Your immediate focus will be to help scale and refine our autonomous floor scrubbers which daily take millions of pictures of our inventory and provide insights about item stock levels, item locations, out of stocks, and pricing accuracy.

    This technology implementation is key to reduce manual labor in our clubs with help of automating the inventory tasks required to be done.

    What you'll bring:

    You're an amazing Java/J2EE developer with 5+ years of professional experienceYou have hands on experience with DB Stack using SQL Server, COSMOS, and any NoSQLYou have hands on experience of building micro services using Spring Boot frameworkYou have experience in building scalable/highly available distributed systems in the production environmentYou have experience in test driven development.

    You have experience using standard tools to tune, profile, and debug Java ApplicationsYou have experience implementing a wide range of testing techniquesYou have hands-on experience implementing CI/CDYou have a mastery of AgileYou have worked in a DEVOPS EnvironmentYou participate in on call support rotation as and when neededKnowledge or experience with PythonExperience using Kubernetes in Azure CloudImplementing Message/Event Brokers

    The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

    Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
