Area

Manager in the Twin Cities

As the Area Manager, youwill beresponsible for the day-to-day operational management of an assigned client portfolio within the branch operation.

The Area Manager supervises and coordinates activities of associates including security, fire-life safetyand maintaining the contracted scope of work in accounts under their book of business.

Through strong communication and company support, the Area Manager will focus on five key areas:
Leadership – Demonstrate leadership and retaining the right people to support the growth ofour companies.
Employee Engagement – Engaging and having direct contact with our workforce every day tocreate a great employee experience.
Customer Engagement – Creating "Raving Fans" of our clients through positive customerrelationships.
Growth – Identifying opportunities that improve our client's services and deliver growth.
Safety - Proactively lead safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the site and partner with market leadership, and law enforcement entities to address operational needs
Develop rapport with client representatives and other relevant partners, by resolving issues and creating employee and customer facing training programs under the guidance of operational company executive
Supervise and coordinate activities of guard force as dictated by contractual obligations and to meet or exceed client expectations
Train, develop, mentor, and motivate Security Officers to provide quality, consistent service and to ensure all decisions comply with company policy and federal and state regulations
Participate in the employee onboarding process including new hire interviewing and selection of candidates that meet ASI's and the client's required level of qualifications and skills

What You Bring:
At least 10years of security experience, with at least3 to 5 years of experience in supervision and leadership required
Must have a coaching mindset and be a champion of your team
Clearly and effectively formulate directions for others, effectively conveying expectations and what success looks like
Build authentic relationships within the organization, with customers, and with the community
Strong employee and client focus
Clearly demonstrates sound decision making, and creative problem-solving skills
