- 5 years of experience in engine and/or chassis repair is required.
- Must have and maintain a Class A or B CDL. *Class A CDL preferred*
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must have Caterpillar and Cummins engine repair experience.
- Must have experience with Allison Automatic Transmission repair.
- Must have their tools.
- Eaton Auto Shift and Eaton Manual Transmission experience are required.
- Experience with Maxx Force, Detroit Diesel, and Mercedes Benz is a plus but, not required.
- Must be willing to assist and train technicians
- Must be able to interact effectively with customers and office personnel
- On-highway truck education/certificate of training preferred or equivalent employment history.
- The candidate must be self-motivated and thoughtful with a high energy level and can work alone or with others in a shop environment.
- Must be capable of performing complex repairs correctly and safely in a shop environment.
- Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with customers, vendors, and peers to exchange information, motivate, influence, and persuade.
- Must present a positive attitude with customers and co-workers as well.
