- Examines, diagnoses, and discusses the issue of the vehicle with the Shop Foreman/Service Advisor for communication to the customers. The Technician offers labor time estimates to the Service Advisor.
- Restores transmissions and fuel components as needed. The Technician repairs cooling components and systems, such as engine cooling and air conditioners.
- Proposes work procedures in cooperation with the Shop Foreman. The Technician completes a story or document for customer repairs.
- Ensures that vehicle longevity and functionality are maintained in a routine manner. The Technician maintains adherence to dealership policies regarding customer vehicle care and operations.
- Automotive Technician knowledge/experience is required. Pay is based on experience.
- Certifications, Licenses, and local registrations required for the position.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals.
