- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills to identify areas of strength and areas of need.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results and student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, including articulation therapy, language intervention, fluency therapy, and social communication skills training.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the curriculum and classroom activities.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on students' progress and collaborate on home-based strategies to support speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid Indiana state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school or pediatric setting.
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
