    Description

    Selby Jennings is working with a 3 billion AUM lower middle-market private equity firm with a $5B+ portfolio of operating companies and commercial real estate investments. They are actively looking to bring on an Asset Manager. This individual will be vital to the commercial real estate investment team.

    Qualification

    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or related studies.
    • MBA or master's degree in finance, accounting, or real estate is preferred.
    • 4+ years' experience in real estate as it relates to asset management
    • Strong understanding of all aspects of property investment, development and financing processes, including but not limited to market analysis, financial analysis including property valuation, capital markets, project budgeting and scheduling.
    • Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills.

    Functions

    • Perform asset management of existing portfolio of value-add properties and projects under construction. This will include preparation and update of quarterly asset reports, ongoing property valuations, market research, and site visits.
    • Track and analyze the performance of the underlying properties and joint-venture partners.
    • Analyze and review asset performance through property financials, rent rolls, leasing activities, debt monitoring, and property budgets.
    • Perform financial modeling related to the monitoring of assets and preparing sell versus hold analysis.
    • Conduct regular in-person and/or scheduled calls with joint-venture partners to review portfolio.
