We are looking for anexperienced Project Manager
to oversee the construction of our unique projects.
The construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion.
The role will include coordinating various aspects of the construction process, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards and safety measures.
( This position requires extensive knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Project and budget controls ).Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation:
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and objectives.
Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes timelines, milestones, resources, and budget estimates.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
Resource and Team Management:
Allocate tasks to construction teams, subcontractors, and other personnel.
Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide clear instructions and guidance to team members to achieve project goals.
Budget and Cost Management:
Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to optimize project costs.
Schedule and Time Management:
Develop construction schedules and timelines, setting clear milestones and deadlines.
Monitor project progress and address any delays or issues that could impact the schedule.
Quality Control and Assurance:
Implement quality control processes to ensure that construction meets established standards and regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and rectify deficiencies.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and hazards associated with the construction process.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and plans to ensure safety and project continuity.
Communication and Reporting:
Maintain open communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and milestones.
Prepare and present progress reports to clients, management, and other relevant parties.
Change Management:
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget by assessing impacts and making informed decisions.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Relevant certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM), can be beneficial.
Proven experience in construction project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools: Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam a must.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and make informed decisions under pressure.
Maintain and nurture positive relationships with team and stakeholders.
