    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Manage accounts payable, including organizing invoices and purchase orders with all necessary documentation.
    • Prepare accrual documentation and submit it to the Financial Controllers.
    • Collaborate with the administrator to review the accounts payable aging.
    • Ensure reconciliation of vendors' monthly statements with the accounts payable aging to address any outstanding issues.
    • Handle the processing of employee payroll on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
    • Review and manage garnishments, court-related orders, and other financial transactions.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is a must, additional college or technical training is a plus.
    • At least 3 years of experience in AP/Payroll roles within the long-term care industry is preferred.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and application of professional standards in accounts payable and payroll practices.
