We are currently seeking an Expert Battery Materials and Analytics (m/f/d) to join our team at our location in Darmstadt, starting on July 1st, 2023.

Responsibilities:

Contributing to the setup of chemistry and analysis laboratories
Assisting in the planning and procurement of scientific infrastructure for material analysis in the field of lithiumion cells
Planning, supervising, and interpreting results of material analyses
Cell benchmarking and technology scouting
Communicating and discussing technical matters with suppliers and customers
Supporting the development of new products and projects
Working closely and coordinating with other departments
Collaborating in an interdisciplinary and international team

Profile:

Successfully completed degree, preferably with a PhD, in the field of materials science, chemistry, physics, or a related field of study
Several years of experience with lithiumion cells in the areas of material development and material analysis
Competence and experience in the field of electrochemistry
Technical understanding and product knowledge in
