Your Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of system requirements and creation of technical specifications for electrical energy storage
  • Definition, planning, and component development of battery systems
  • Electrical, thermal, logical, and mechanical energy storage design
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration in customer projects
  • Project management and reporting in various committees
  • Participation in the creation of failure mode and effects analyses and test plans
  • Creation, review, and commenting on development documents
  • Market observation and evaluation of technologies for new energy storage concepts
  • Evaluation of technical issues and implementation of appropriate measures
  • Support in the selection, coordination, and monitoring of global suppliers
  • Approval of electrical energy storage systems
Your Profile

  • Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the automotive or energy sector, particularly in the area of batteries, as well as lowvoltage and highvoltage components
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical energy storage systems, including battery management systems (HV batteries, capacitors)
  • Knowledge of the development and production of lithiumion batteries
  • Good written and spoken English and German skills
  • Strong team spirit, initiative, and willingness to travel
