    Come join our dynamic team of rehabilitation therapists at Brookdale Paddock Hills, an active senior retirement community located in Ocala, FL. This opportunity will allow you to get the most out of your career as you:

    * Help assist with rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
    * Assist with treating residents one on one, not in a group type setting, so each patient gets individualized attention. Private treatment sessions, functional based treatment approach.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Interpersonal

    * Effectively uses basic communication skills of listening, questioning, verifying, and explaining.
    * Creates rapport and positive working relationships with key facility personnel and fellow LHS employees that allow for discovering others' needs.
    * Treats patients and maintains a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting budget and productivity goals.
    * Participates in a culture of world-class talent
    * Demonstrates professional conduct and ethics in accordance with Legacy policies and procedures.
    * Other duties as assigned.

  • Clinical background as a PTA with an appropriate degree in the field.
    * Preferred experience in Long Term Care (LTC), Rehab Agency, home healthcare, or outpatient setting
    * Must have comfort with learning new computer skills.
    * An active Florida license.
