- Oversee project execution, prioritizing safety while managing costs effectively.
- Support and manage project completion across the region, including setting deadlines, delegating tasks, and monitoring financial and project progress.
- Collaborate with the project team under supervisor guidance to meet and exceed project targets, assisting General Foremen and their teams in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Engage in pre-project activities such as site visits and bid meetings to fully grasp project requirements and customer expectations.
- Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, issue and risk management, as well as providing status updates to all stakeholders.
- Allocate project personnel effectively, ensuring the right fit for each task.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with project progress and outcomes.
- Report project status accurately and timely to both management and clients.
- Participate actively in both team and safety meetings, contributing to a cohesive and safe working environment.
- Progress towards a Project Manager role through performance and experience.
- Adapt to diverse work environments, including outdoor sites with varying conditions and potential exposure to hazardous materials and noise.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
- Preference for candidates with industrial construction experience and previous project team involvement.
- Fundamental understanding of industrial construction norms, codes, and safety regulations.
- Basic knowledge of process plant operations and design, including an understanding of common systems and equipment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of professional business interactions.
- Willingness to travel regularly to project sites.
- Familiarity with estimation, scheduling, blueprint reading, CAD files, and shop drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong overall computer literacy.
