- Leads, coordinates, communicates, integrates, and is accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities.
- Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
- Manages teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations; ensuring that all personnel involved in providing or supporting services under the contract meet requirements established by the Task Order, including security clearance requirements.
- Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
- Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
- Develop and maintain strategic plans; ensuring all work is performed according to contractual requirements and performance standards.
- Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
- Perform needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.
- Implement appropriate controls to prevent and detect cases of employee fraud or malfeasance and notification of appropriate security personnel to determine required actions.
- Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and internal service performance to foster continual improvement and maintain consistent feedback on performance and provide an overview to the client on all areas of contract performance.
- Manage multi-year IT initiatives related to IT Rationalization and the IT infrastructure and provisioning of circuits associated with various private shipyards in which MARMC ship availabilities may be performed.
- Resolve conflicts in laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedure.
- Act as a primary stakeholder in the underlying information technology (IT) operational processes and functions that support the service, provide direction, and monitor all significant activities so the service is delivered successfully.
- Coordinate and manage the overall service provided to a customer end-to-end.
- Ten (10) years of experience in the management of projects involving Information Technology support service.
- Five (5) years of experience in IT projects involving design, maintenance, or operation of IT systems and equipment.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Professional Certification (Desired)
- Self-motivated, possess strong analytical skills and be customer oriented. Clearly communicate ideas to others verbally and in writing. The Program Manager shall also have vast experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
