Be Part of a fast paced, leading edge Automation Equipment Design and Manufacturing company. In this position will be responsible for timely and quality completion of equipment design per the customer specifications. You will refine design concepts into practical, manufacturable designs that meet performance, durability, and cost targets. Experienced engineers will mentor you to learn automation and help you grow to be a Lead Mechanical Engineer.
What would a typical day look like?

Play an active role as a team member in the Mechanical Design Engineering team, contributing expertise, and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Develop and design mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring they meet functional, performance, and manufacturability requirements.
Creation of engineering drawings and documentation, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
Supporting the Lead Mechanical Engineer on the project.

What qualifies you for this opportunity?

2-3 years of experience in System Design, Tool Design, Fixture Design, or Machine Design
Reliable transportation and an ability to travel, travel to customer/vendor facilities will be very limited.
Work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Working knowledge of Solidworks or other 3D CAD software, further training will be provided.
Proficient in MS office.
Proficient in Solidworks CAD software
Strong math aptitude and ability to perform basic calculations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of mechanical systems and hands on approach to learning.
Past leadership roles.
