    Description
    Be Part of a fast paced, leading edge Automation Equipment Design and Manufacturing company.
    In this position you will be responsible for timely and quality completion of automation projects per the customer specifications.
    You will refine design concepts into practical, manufacturable designs that meet performance, durability, and cost targets.

    What would a typical day look like?Play an active role as a team member in the Mechanical Design Engineering team, contributing expertise, and collaborating effectively with colleagues.

    Capable of handling the complete design process, from initial concept development to detailed design and final review.
    Develop and design mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring they meet functional, performance, and manufacturability requirements.
    Oversee the creation of engineering drawings and documentation, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
    Stay up to date on the latest mechanical engineering technologies and trends, continuously expanding their knowledge and skills.
    Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project success, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
    Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams, addressing design-related issues and ensuring smooth production processes.
    Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues, analyzing problems, and implementing effective solutions.
    Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
    Presenting designs to customers in weekly review meetings.
    What qualifies you for this opportunity?Reliable transportation and an ability to travel.10 years of experience in Designing Automation Equipment.
    Proven ability to Lead a mechanical design project team.
    Work effectively in cross functional teams.
    Proficient in Solidworks CAD software including FEA simulation.
    Proficient in MS office and engineering calculation software.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Strong practical knowledge of mechanical design and preform engineering calculations.
