    Safety Specialist/EHS/Health and Safety/Process Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Engineering/Chemical Manufacturing/Chemicals/Building Materials/Safety Manager

    As a Safety Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Ensure the plant is compliant with all site safety regulations, policies, and procedures
    • Create and provide safety training and initiatives
    • Responsible for case management in regards to site safety
    • Lead Behavior-Based Safety initiatives

    Job Requirements

    As a Safety Specialist job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • BS in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or another science related field may consider those without a BS with relevant experience
    • 4+ years of Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing facility
    • Knowledge of regulatory standards and behavior-based safety
    • Previous experience with continuous process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
