CMI is expanding, and we're looking for a Safety Training Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and facilitate comprehensive safety training sessions tailored to various audiences, ensuring all participants receive essential knowledge and skills for maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements and Experience:

15 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in delivering engaging and informative health and safety training and presentations to diverse groups.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Exceptional presentation capabilities, able to captivate and educate participants.
Strong project and task management skills, ensuring timely and efficient completion of training programs.
Expertise in developing compelling PowerPoint presentations to support training sessions.
Capability to perform light to medium physical activities as required during training sessions.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, up to 100%, when assigned to field projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and collaborative training environment.

Education and Credentials

Bachelors degree in a Health and Safety discipline
OSHA 501 | OSHA 500 helpful
First Aid CPR Instructor preferred

Physical Requirements:

- _Prolonged periods of standing and walking_
- _Prolonged driving and sitting _
- _Ability to lift up to 25lbs_

Other Requirements:

- _Background check and potential drug screening required for the position_
- _Overtime and flexible working hours may be necessary based on project demands_
- _Residence within a reasonable commuting distance_
