    • Title: Performance Management Specialist
    • Assignment: 6-month (Potential to be extended)
    • Schedule: Fulltime (40 HPW), Monday-Friday, hybrid schedule after 30 days - 3 days onsite, 2 remote.
    • Pay: $55-$65/hr

    Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Performance Management Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and structuring performance management cycles for organizations, particularly within the non-profit or government sector. Union experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving change management initiatives and possesses a thorough understanding of performance management best practices. This individual will play a pivotal role in assisting with the pilot process and providing comprehensive documentation to facilitate the organization-wide rollout of performance management procedures, communications, and tools.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement a comprehensive performance management cycle tailored to the organization's needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Track record of successfully implementing performance management initiatives in complex organizational environments, including government agencies.
    • Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new performance management processes across the organization.
    • Assist in the pilot process by providing guidance, training, and support to pilot groups and/or departments.
    • Create documentation, guidelines, and training materials to enable the successful implementation and adoption of performance management procedures.
    • Partner with HR and leadership to communicate performance management policies, procedures, and expectations effectively.
    • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of performance management initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance management, with a demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives.
    • Experience working in non-profit or government agencies is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of performance management principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Proven track record of designing and implementing performance management processes that drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
    • Proficiency in change management techniques and methodologies.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive documentation and training materials.
    • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci) or HR credentials (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
