GWU Hospital is jointly owned and operated by George Washington University and a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS). The GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS), adjacent to the hospital, is the 11th oldest medical center in the country and the 1st in the nation's capital.

Main tasks include:
Certified Surgical Technologist
As a Certified Surgical Technologist at GW University Hospital, you will play a vital role in our surgical team, ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and contributing to the overall success of our surgical department. With a keen understanding of surgical procedures and a commitment to excellence, you will prepare supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for surgical cases, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and assist in all procedures. Your responsibilities will also include case cleanup, patient positioning, patient transportation, and room turnovers, maintaining a sterile and organized environment.
