Are you an experienced Surgical Technologist looking for a new & exciting opportunity? If so, Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC, has the perfect opportunity for you

As a Surgical Technologist II, you possess advanced knowledge of surgical techniques and are able to anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of a surgical procedure. You will serve as a resource person for specialty cases and demonstrate working knowledge of specialty equipment. Experienced Surgical Technologists will also serve as a primary preceptor for new grad Surg Techs and other staff, helping to orient them into the scrub role in the operating room.

Minimum Education and Experience:

1. High school graduate or GED equivalent.
2. Associate degree in Allied Health or equivalent combination of education and clinical experience preferred.
3. Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
4. Certification in specialty as Surgical Technologist required.
5. Current CPR Certification required.

Shift: Full-Time, 7a - 3:30p. Call and weekends may be required depending on staffing vacancies and vacations.
