- Provide direct assistance to children and families regarding the use of library materials, equipment, and services.
- Sorts and shelves library material in proper order in the Children's Department.
- Provide reference and readers' advisory assistance to children and families.
- Assist Librarians in the preparation and execution of children's programs, including outreach.
- Provide great customer service by assisting Patrons with checking in and out, processing new library cards, processing payments for fines and fees, and navigating the library.
- Sorting and Shelving library material in proper order.
- Assisting in maintaining the library collection by handling and processing damaged, misplaced and lost items.
- Courteously interprets, explains, and enforces library policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
