    Description

    Job Description

    will work onsite 3 days a week in either Atlanta, Chandler AZ, or richmond VA

    Work across technology to create the solution to align with Bank's cloud strategy

    Assist in translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies

    Design and implement new software solutions as part of our cloud enablement strategy, as well as maintain and enhance existing software

    Write public cloud infrastructure as code automation using tools such as Ansible Automation Platform and Terraform

    Ensure that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented practices, and performance

    Write and conduct unit and integration tests

    Effectively function and communicate within a software development team consisting of developers, quality assurance, and project management members

    Actively participate in requirements, architecture reviews, and design meetings

    Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

    Lead proactive monitoring review and implementation

    Work with Engineering, Development Support, and/or infrastructure teams to implement server and application changes, fixes, upgrades and remediation

    Provide SDLC automation support for development to our Horizon Platform (Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.)

    Skills and Requirements

    Significant experience with writing infrastructure as code using Ansible Automation Platform and Terraform

    Experience in DevOps and GitOps models with infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code, etc.

    Hands on usage of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP platforms and services in production environments

    Experience in enterprise-scale environments, building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutions

    Experience with containers related technologies and CI/CD tools -- Jenkins, pipelines, container repos, etc.

    Experience in programming and infra-automation tools -- Ansible, Terraform, Java, python, etc.

    Experience in logging, monitoring, and observability tools

    Practical experience with following Toolsets:

    o Ansible Automation Platform (AAP or Ansible Tower) administration

    o Postgres installation and administration

    o Ansible playbooks and python modules and plugins

    o Rest API programming

    o Installation and administration of Grafana/Prometheus/Splunk

    o Working knowledge of Hashicorp Vault/CyberArk, and their API interfaces

    Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodology

    Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

    Excellent communication skills

    Minimum 5+ years of Cloud Engineer/DevOps Engineer working experience null
