    Job DescriptionSalary: $75,000 - $90,000

Trustwell is nationally recognized as the leading developer of nutritional analysis, labeling software and databases for top food manufacturers, food professionals, and dietitians.

    As a Dev Ops Engineer, you are a member of a dynamic and agile DevOps team responsible for building the platforms, systems, and services that power our customer facing products. You will work closely with our Software Engineers as well as your Engineering Management leadership team to stay ahead of the curve with our products, architecture, and the latest DevOps principles. You will participate in driving operational best practices on your team and drive improvements as necessary.

    This is a fully remote position, but the perfect candidate needs to be in the Eastern Time Zone.

    What You Do

    • Be a part of an agile team that makes and keeps regular commitments.
    • Partner with a team of high-performing developers who are focused on delivering best in class software products
    • Cultivate an automation-first attitude and work to champion code-centric solutions throughout our department to improve velocity and deliverability
    • Participate in incident response role activity
    • Develop tooling to surface the day-to-day health, uptime and reliability of our application
    • Think long-term and avoid band-aids
    • Identify unnecessary complexities and remove them
    • Participate in the solution design process

    What You Bring

    • At least 2 years of experience as SRE or equivalent engineering role
    • Minimum 4 years of experience as DevSecOps Engineer or equivalent engineering role
    • At least 3 years of production cloud environment experience such as Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud Platform and it's various services
    • Advanced knowledge and experience in implementing DataDog for APM, RUM, Synthetic, and Infrastructure monitoring, as well as Dashboard
    • Strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration management tools and technologies, such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
    • Experience implementing and managing DevSecOps pipeline with Security Scanning processes and tools, such as SAST, DAST, PenTest, Snyk, and OWASP.
    • Hands-on experience in Microsoft architecture and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
    • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines through automation tools such as TeamCity or CircleCI.
    • Experience working on infrastructure projects in an Agile environment.
    • Ability to team up with people from different disciplines and drive to a win-win
    • Automation first mindset and orientation

    Nice To Have

    • Hands-on experience with application monitoring tools (DataDog, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.)
    • Ability to function as a Change Agent to introduce and evangelize DevOps mindset, solving availability, performance, capacity planning, cost-effectiveness, monitoring and alerting
    • Ability to lead small scale projects
    • Ability to mentor other more junior Dev Ops Engineers
