    Behavioral Health Consultant Job Description

    Allied Behavioral Health Solutions is dedicated to providing top-notch behavioral health services for individuals, families, and communities.     Primary Responsibilities

    • Utilizing screenings and assessments for virtual and telehealth consultations with pediatricians statewide.
    • Providing brief interventions and psychoeducation to pediatricians through the behavioral health consultation line.
    • Maintaining accurate documentation and data collection for outcome assessment.
    • Participating in state and national trainings for consultation best practices.
    • Facilitating connections between healthcare providers and Referral Coordinator for coordinated care.
    • Collaborating with team members and external agencies for resource development.
    • Ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent communication.
    • Providing training and technical assistance to promote awareness of the consultation line.
    • Collaborating with leadership for process evaluation and improvement.

    Reports to: Director of Statewide Initiatives

    Minimum Requirements: Master's in Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Eligibility for LCSW/LPC-MHSP licensure within three months of hire. Clinical assessment experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior healthcare system exposure preferred.

    Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication skills, ability to assess and manage crises, work collaboratively in a team, and analyze and report data effectively.
