    The work territory of this position is in the Roswell NM area. The ideal candidate should live within one hour of the territory to facilitate easy access. Consider relocating if needed as relocation assistance is not available for this role.

    JOB SUMMARY

    This role involves outside sales activities to promote Sysco's products and services, establish relationships with new and existing clients, and help customers succeed while meeting sales and profit targets. The position may require flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet customer needs effectively.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop new business, retain existing accounts, and achieve profitable sales growth within the assigned territory
    • Identify and qualify prospects in line with company account stratification objectives
    • Understand customer requirements and offer tailored product and service solutions
    • Stay updated on market trends, recommend products based on customer needs, and share valuable information with clients
    • Address customer inquiries, provide product information and training, and support their needs effectively
    • Manage deliveries, resolve order issues, and participate in company promotions and events
    • Participate in sales and district meetings, training sessions, and assist in new employee onboarding
    • Handle administrative tasks such as sales reporting, budgeting, and record-keeping
    • Perform any other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Education/Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of relevant experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bilingual proficiency
    • Experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, or as a Chef

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Current automobile insurance meeting specified liability requirements

    Requirement

    • Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
    • Agree to Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement
    • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the territory's vicinity
