    Description

    Research Development Partnerships Senior Analyst in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences to provide advisement to scientists and facultyin identifying and securingtraditional and non-traditional external grant funding in support of research provides consultation onproposal design developsmeasurement instruments for workflow processes tracking of cycle times and work completed collects data and supervises the collection of data analyzesdata writes and prepares final grant proposals creates cohesive proposals from ideas contributed by various participants edits scientific and non-scientificsections for clarity develops and contributes to infrastructure and methods for generatingresearch proposal ideas and collaborations contributes to grantapplications program evaluations research articles reports or proposals manages andprepares progress reports develops a systematic search system forscientists and faculty to locate funding sources from governmental organizations corporations and private foundations researches potential relationships/alliances for sustainable funding sources provides timelines for and ensures the timely submission of grant proposals assists in the writing of manuscriptsforscientific journals publications articles for lay public magazines and/or websites.

    Additionally, will be responsible for cultivating new and existing relationship with external vision science sponsors, primary liaison for internal awards and matching these opportunities with PIs for successful proposals. This role will manage all translational departmental research programs, grants and core resources, as well as research related events including ARVO, Ocular Oncology, VISOR, unEYEted and internal collaborative meetings.

    Minimum Education Required:

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable.

    Minimum Experience Required:

    4-6 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
