Your role

Are you passionate about network stability?

– Senior L3 Network Operations Engineer responsible for day-to-day technical and service oversight of the regional network.

– You will be required to work across all technologies and environments, not just Cloud, but will be / become the Operations Azure Networking SME.

– You will provide technical oversight across the network environment specifically across operational activities, major incidents, capacity management and problem management, but also peer changes for implementation projects.

– You will be encouraged to be a subject matter expert within a field work and will be required to work engineering to onboard new products.

– 20% project delivery as a secondary role where demand requires.

Your team

You'll be working as a Senior Operations Level 3 Network Engineer, responsible for the EMEA region but will work in a follow the sun model set-up with global colleagues.

Your team will be located across 3 geographical locations:
India, Poland and London.

Technical qualities

embracing an automated, standardized and multi-tenant network.

although it is not expected to be a master in all areas, you must be a solid, well rounded engineer with strong understanding and knowledge across network wide competencies: routing, switching, load balancing, SD-WAN, Firewalls.

subject matter expertise of one or more platforms.

The network technologies currently in multi-platform, multi-vendor primarily comprising of Juniper, Arista, Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, McAfee, Fortinet, Palo Alto A10, f5, Citrix Netscaler.

experience with Network/Monitoring tools

good understanding of traffic flow for Azure cloud networks.

good understanding of load balancers and web application firewalls.

good understanding of Public key infrastructure.

excellent understanding of TCP handshake, SSL/TLS handshake and HTTP protocol

hands-on experience administering /Azure / Azure AD / IAAS / PAAS / SAAS cloud services & DEVOPS

excellent knowledge of Programming in Azure / Microsoft capable languages, such as ARM, PowerShell, YAML and a good understanding of Azure API's

experience and exposure working with DEVOPS

excellent understanding and knowledge in designing & implementing Private, Hybrid & Public cloud infrastructure.

well organized with an innate sense of how to prioritize across a complex environment

excellent Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge using PowerShell, ARM, YAML pipelines

proficiency in complex Azure ARM Templates

excellent communication in architecting, designing, and implementing high quality solutions using Azure services, collaborating with stakeholders, engaging with clients in order to implement well-designed cloud solutions.
