The Housekeeper at the Courtyard by Marriott Norfolk is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.

Follow company and brand procedures for cleaning guest rooms.
Complete pre-cleaning duties like stocking supplies.
Remove trash and dirty linen from rooms.
Replenish guest room supplies and make beds.
Conduct deep cleaning activities as necessary.
Interact with guests and team members in a friendly manner.
Maintain attendance and grooming standards.
Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms per shift.
Address special guest requests and report issues to supervisors.
Perform other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Effective communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Physical ability to stand/walk and perform repetitive tasks.
Work well in high-pressure situations.
Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Ability to convey information clearly.
Desire to provide excellent guest service.
18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in hotel cleaning or related field.
