You must take personal accountability for the cleanliness of each guest room and set a good example for your team.

Excellent communication skills are essential to being successful in this role as you will be working with multiple departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and rearranging the room after guests check out
• Deliver linens to the laundry department
• Inspect rooms and public spaces daily to ensure all rooms are cared for according to brand and Marriott standards
• Train new housekeeping staff to ensure they know all components/features of our guest service guarantee and are trained to meet service standards
• Ongoing involvement in preventative maintenance programs
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replaces on housekeeping cart when needed
• Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, and/or disturbances
• Communicate with maintenance team regarding any maintenance requests reported by housekeeping team members
• Communicate with front desk team regarding rooms that are ready for new arrivals to checkin

• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
