- Maintain PC's and peripheral systems.
- Respond promptly to problems or questions regarding network and systems hardware.
- Perform server startups, shutdowns, backups, and restores.

Functions and Responsibilities
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology or designee, the Technical Support Specialist will maintain PCs and peripherals, troubleshoot and solve hardware problems and monitor a local area network.
Supervisory Role
The Technical Support Specialist will receive oral and written instructions from the Director of Information Technology or designee. The Tech Specialist may supervise support Staff and student workers.
