    Clinical Research Site Director - Oak Park, IL

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced individual adept at overseeing multi-center sites, conducting multi-center studies, and managing clinical trials. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional interpersonal, communication, and project management skills, and is comfortable engaging with stakeholders across all levels of clinical research, from research assistants to Principal Investigators and study participants. This role entails managing a sizable research team, offering guidance, and stepping in to assist with tasks as necessary. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, Good Clinical Practices, and industry standards is paramount, along with upholding the integrity and quality of clinical studies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Achieve or surpass enrollment targets and annual budgeted revenue and expense goals
    • Foster positive interactions within the clinical aspect of the practice
    • Manage day-to-day operations of the research department
    • Oversee staffing, including professional development, recruitment, training, and mentoring
    • Coordinate and administer appropriate training for research personnel
    • Conduct and approve employee performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback
    • Provide mentorship and guidance on study processes and requirements to team members
    • Ensure optimal customer service experience for patients, staff, and sponsors
    • Supervise study management activities, including timely review of monitor reports
    • Oversee site audits and inspections as necessary
    • Address site performance and quality/compliance issues in collaboration with the QA team
    • Coordinate tasks with the QA team and Regulatory Manager to ensure site readiness for initial patient visits
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of study protocols and procedures, sharing best practices and offering training as needed
    • Ensure site meets monthly screening, randomization, and completion/retention goals
    • Manage research department finances, including payments, expense reporting, and payroll approval
    • Enforce quality processes to ensure high-quality data collection and minimize deviations
    • Cultivate a positive team environment aligned with cultural goals and expectations
    • Collaborate with the general clinic Manager to integrate clinical research and patient care effectively

    Additional Information:

    Position: Clinical Research Site Director

    Location: Oak Park, IL

    Hours: Monday-Friday; Normal Business Hours; Onsite 5 Days a Week

    Employment: Direct Hire

    Pay: $80,000-$130,000 Annual Salary (Dependent on Background and years of experience)
