- Business owner of global enterprise security and safety measures for nationwide network of locations including corporate offices and 55+ transportation hubs
- Audit physical Vehicle storage locations (example - intrusion detection, access control, cameras) and ensuring functionally of all systems
- Define and establish security standard protocols and measures across all ACERTUS network sites: standard, standard plus, and high risk.
- Prepare prompt and complete reports relative to Theft, Fraud, Critical Incidents, and Process Improvement per Storage locations
- Partner with Operations Claims, People & Culture, and other department Managers to conduct investigations, operational assessments to create security requirements that address Safety and Loss Prevention at all office locations.
- Primary investigation, root cause corrective action, and response owner for all security (theft, vandalism) claims including vehicles and/or storage locations
- Owner of initiating and maintaining correspondence with authority agencies relevant to any security event (i.e. police, security, fire, other)
- Work with IT on set up of Infrastructure for Facilities and effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes, and initiatives
- Serve as department's liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert for site leadership keeping them informed on key issues, strategies, and the department's performance
- Analyze data, conducts audits, and identify trends to create actionable plans to mitigate risk
- Primary owner of security claims monitoring, partnering with the claims manager and team to provide reporting
- Works with Operations/Claims/HR/Insurance on Audits, Vehicle Safety Program, and Return to Work Program.
- Effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes, and initiatives
- Primary business owner for Emergency Action Plans (EAP) for all ACERTUS sites: Define, develop, deploy, communication and update cycle of EAP
- Primary business owner for business continuity and disaster recovery for all ACERTUS sites: Collaborating with communication, information technology, people and culture, operations, and commercial teams
- Develop and implement training programs and initiatives for all levels of field personnel to combat loss prevention issues and promote safety in the company
- Assures the completion of all incident reports, investigations, and communication to carrier.
- Plans and implements a course of action to follow all claims through to resolution.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Loss Control/Risk Management
- 2+ years of experience in security service, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control, quality assurance or bachelor's degree in a related field
- Preferred: law enforcement or security experience (local police officers, detectives, highway patrol or federal agents (i.e. FBI, ATF), military police)
- Great oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Professional Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Workplace Violence and/or Business Continuity experience
- Analytical experience in performance based, action and results oriented setting
- Personal responsibility to manage change
- Willing and able to work with law enforcement, tow/impound lots as needed.
- Previous experience creating polices and establishing procedures
- Must be willing and able to travel 30% to 40%

ACERTUS is the only tech-enabled automotive logistics company to move, store, recondition, title & register finished vehicles. As a Loss Control Manager, you will Lead, conduct, and deliver results regarding investigations of Theft, Fraud, and Workplace Violence/Critical Incidents
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends and travel 30% - 40% depending on business needs.
Pay: $80,000 - $90,000/year. Based on experience.
